I have been in Broken Box since my sophomore year. Previously, the only major theatre experience I had was in my elementary school where I did one play a year with my class from 1st-5th grade.

Since I've had an extensive background in dance and I was considering pursuing musical theater from the ensemble/dance perspective, I wanted to have a stronger foundation in acting. My dance schedule was always quite hectic, so I knew that I wouldn't have much time to delegate to theater in a youth company (due to their strenuous time commitments). As a result, I decided to audition for Broken Box because I knew it would fit into my schedule and I had loved the shows they had put on.

The only theater shows that I've been in as of recent have all been with Broken Box. These productions include The Lonely Hearts Club, The Remarkable Incident at Carson Corners, When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors, The Day the Internet Died, Kissed the Girls and Made Them Cry, The Iliad, The Odyssey, and All of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less, and Don't Try to Wake Him Hand Me the Shovel.

I'm not going to pursue theater specifically when I leave high school, however the skills I've gained in Broken Box will certainly assist me in as I try to take my place in the entertainment industry.

My favorite Broken Box memory was waking up at 4:30 in the morning to go watch the sunrise with the entire cast and then get breakfast together at the start of summer.

My favorite board game is Scrabble!
