Before Broken Box, I didn't have too much experience in plays. When I was really young, I did a play called The Stinky Cheese Man. I played a skunk. I think it was my crowning moment. In 6th grade, my friend persuaded me to be in a production of Les Miserables, and after that, I also did Peter Pan. I got into theater pretty casually, and I took the acting classes at my middle school and was in Acting 1 freshman year at Los Altos. I think what really got me into theater was musicals because I loved to dance and sing. But y'know, now I'm here!
Tech has been so fun for the time that I've been a part of it. I think it would be super cool to do some more stage-managing outside of Broken Box, and it would be cool to help out with different productions and see how tech works differently. It would be interesting to pursue a career in it, but that's not currently my top priority.
My favorite Broken Box moment was probably last year's senior showcase. The planning got pretty intense and we were able to pull off a really cool reveal (revealing a theme for the night of senior showcase). The casino with a spy twist was really fun and it was pretty entertaining to watch the seniors' reactions to the whole thing. I also got to dress up as a secret agent, so that was definitely a plus.
My go-to favorite color is blue, like a pastel baby blue or something? I also really like deep green or lavender.
